Sunny's not a terribly original thinker, I guess: she got the idea for their Independence Day party from the "I Hate Valentine's Day" party in the movie Valentine's Day — just like she got the idea for the A Christmas Carol-esque "prank" on Jason back in #352–354 from Ghosts of Girlfriends Past… which, if you didn't notice, presaged a couple of little details in this now-concluded arc.
