#549: It’s Almost Like a Triple Standard

January 13, 2011

Notes from the Manager

Related Strips: #548: Brain Candy

Once again, everyone in good ol' Peoria, Illinois, or thereabouts — I will be on the Greg and Dan Show on WMBD 1470 AM this Friday, bright and early at 8:00am or something like that. (I find it amusing that their show is followed by Glen Beck.) It should be up as a podcast at a later date, so I'll try to link it up for the rest of you.

I’ll also be at Peoria’s Acme Books and Comics on Saturday, signing (and selling) books from 12pm to 3pm. Acme is located at 2218 W. Glen Ave., Peoria, IL. If you know me personally (from high school or college or whatever), and you still live in Peoria, you must be there, or I will never forgive you.

Trailer Watch: X-Men: Days of Future Past final trailer

Wednesday, April 16, 2014

This is the most standard action movie trailer yet for X-Men: Days of Future Past, but also the best overview of the plot of the actual film (not to be confused with the premise/basic set-up of sending Wolvie back in time in order to blah blah blah).

Pretty cool stuff. The movie finally comes out on May 23, 2014.
