#656: Don’t Stand So Close to Me

January 5, 2012

Notes from the Manager

Related Strips: #653: Home for the Holidays; #654: The Chicago Choke; #655: Art Imitating Life

I got this done just under the wire for calling this a Thursday comic, so yay, I guess?

There'll be a couple more strips with Jason and Jillian, and then we'll get back to the movie, I think. At some point, I'll need to push the time forward into 2012, but as of right now, they're still pre-Christmas. (Not that we're going to see any strips set on either Christmas or New Year's this time around.)

See you Monday!

Trailer Watch: The Theory of Everything trailer

Friday, August 15, 2014

There’s no telling how the film will turn out, but the trailer for The Theory of Everything impressed me by having a respectably balanced focus on both the life of Stephen Hawking (and relationship with his first wife) and the work he is so admired for, unlike so many other film biographies of so-called Great Men.

James Marsh (Man on Wire) directs Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones in the November 7th release.
