Related Strips: #893: Love’s a Bitch
The title means “out of nothing” in Latin, and it’s most often used in the context of things (i.e. the universe) coming into existence out of nothingness. The idea here is that doomed relationships are often from people trying to make something out of nothing. It makes sense in my head.
