#417: Past, Present and Future?, Part Two

November 23, 2009

Notes from the Manager

Related Strips: #376: Hiding in Plain Sight; #377: History Lesson; #416: Past, Present and Future?, Part One

Although this is the second of two about/at the Patio Theatre, the "Past, Present and Future?" arc isn't quite done yet. Devi and Jason head back to the Multiplex on Thursday. See you then!

If you're curious, I have a set of photos of the Patio Theatre up on my Flickr account. This one is (more or less) the photo Devi was taking in panel 4 of this strip — although this one is my favorite.

Trailer Watch: Jenny Slate in Obvious Child

Thursday, April 17, 2014

This apparently hit big at Sundance, and who doesn’t like Jean-Ralphio’s sister on Parks & Rec? Okay, maybe a lot of people, but Jenny Slate is fuckin’ funny. Anyway. Obvious Child is an indie comedy-drama about a young potty-mouth comedian (Slate) who finds out she’s pregnant and… just watch this.

Obvious Child was written and directed by Gillian Robespierre. It hits theaters on June 6, 2014. It’s so indie, its official movie site is on Tumblr.
