#1049: Life Is the Worst Screenwriter

August 17, 2015

Notes from the Manager

Related Strips: #1047: The Fantastic Bore, Part One

This is why Barry said all the managers are out of town. We’ll be here (at this meeting) for a while, I think. And, of course, Melissa, Katie, and several other familiar faces are around. (No Becky this year.)

As the beginning of Book Nine, I'm trying to make the first few strips relatively new reader friendly — but it is the end of a ten+ year story, so if you are a new reader, I really recommend jumping back to Book Five or so. (I prettied up the Book and Chapter pages a little bit, by the way. Poke around the site for a bit!)

Oh right — and there will be a couple of bonus updates. At least two movie review strips (the other two Transformers movies) — but then I'm not sure what else. It's almost time for the semester to start up.

But wait! There’s more!

Although Multiplex will be ending soon, thanks to readers like you on Patreon, the Multiplex 10 will stay open for business! I’ll be posting bonus comics from future print collections, Multiplex Movie Review strips, updates on the upcoming Multiplex animated short, and, of course, other non-Multiplex stuff.

In addition to the warm, soothing feeling of being a patron of the fine art of comic strippery, Patrons get access to free Multiplex eBooks, sneak previews of upcoming comics and other behind the scenes peeks, sketch giveaways, and more!

The collected Multiplex Movie Reviews eBook is now available

Thursday, March 16, 2017

A brand spanking new eBook collecting all twenty-nine Multiplex Movie Reviews to date is now available via Gumroad. It’s priced at $1.99 and includes a bunch of strips never posted to the Multiplex site and previously only available to Kickstarter backers and Patreon patrons. Some of them are even funny!

(Please note that if you are a Book Three Kickstarter backer or current Patreon patron, you already have access to this eBook! I included a link in the latest updates on each site.)
