#409: Queen Bitch

October 29, 2009

Notes from the Manager

Related Strips: #400: Diarrhea of the Dead, Part One; #408: She’s Angry

There was going to be a little bit more to this strip, but I ran out of time, so you'll get the next few panels in the next strip instead, I guess! (They cut forward to Halloween anyway, so it's probably just as well.)

So! You know I have T-shirts and mini-posters for sale in the Multiplex Store, right? Well, did you know that you get a free button with every order? No, of course not, because I never told anybody. Well, you do, and now you know.

But, just because I feel like it, any T-shirt orders through Monday will get four free buttons, instead. (That's per T-shirt, so if you want eight buttons, order two shirts!)

They'll just be random ones (although Jackson, my trust fulfillment guy, will try to include a couple of Multiplex character buttons in there), and there are a whole bunch of buttons.

My friend, Theater Hopper creator and Triple Feature co-host Tom Brazelton made them for me, didn't you know?

P.S. Have you pledged yet? :)

Multiplex will be back on Monday

Syd

It’s only been a couple of months since I said goodbye to Punk and today my fiancée Karyn and I had to say goodbye to her cat Sydney. Like Punk, she was eighteen years old and had multiple long-term health issues.

I only knew her for the last eight of her years, and although we had a contentious start, and she never got along with Punk, we grew to have a special bond. In the last few months, she would sit on me as I slept and be the first thing I saw almost every morning. She was a very sweet, ridiculously affectionate cat, and we will both miss her.

Multiplex is taking a very short break. I’ll see you here Monday.
