Notes from the Manager
Related Strips: #419: What Are You Running From, Man?
You guys remember what Franklin and Jason talked about in #419, right? I mean, it was only a year ago. Surely you've re-read the archives a few dozen times since then.
And… one more time: if you're going to New York Comic Con, don't forget I will be at Booth 2487 all three days, sharing a table with Liz Bailie of Freewheel! Stop by and say hi! I will have the book on sale for $20 (just to make it a nice round number), and I'll be doing (quick) sketches in any books sold at the show. And I should also have some of the Michael Bay T-shirts (most likely L and XL only). See you there!
By the way, next week's updates will be on Tuesday and Thursday, instead of the usual Monday/Thursday deal. I'll need a little time to finish off the first update after I get home from NYC, unfortunately. Sorry about the delay!

Bonus comics, drawings,
movie trailers and more

They’re showing all kinds of too much in this teaser trailer, I think, but it looks pretty great… despite the stupid character designs on the villains. (I was one of those people who enjoyed Marc Webb’s first Spider-Man flick quite a bit; the major clunky parts being where they seemed to think they needed to change up Uncle Ben’s death and other bits of canon, just to make it different from Raimi’s version.)
Bonus points: this is the best Spidey’s costume has ever looked in film. I hope Sony never changes the suit again (unless they do the black costume for a movie or two).
Amazing Spider-Man 2 hits theaters on May 2, 2014.
