Notes from the Manager

There will be three updates this week. Or, at least, that's the plan. Hopefully I'll have one up on Wednesday and Friday, so I can wrap up Whitey's going away party!

In honor of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, I have a big ol' sale going on at the Multiplex Store (it started on Friday and is ending today). Copies of Multiplex: Enjoy Your Show (a.k.a. Book 1) are 20% off — with even steeper discounts for those of you who buy multiple copies for your friends and loved ones — and just about everything else is discounted, too. Check it out!

Trailer Watch: Jenny Slate in Obvious Child

Thursday, April 17, 2014

This apparently hit big at Sundance, and who doesn’t like Jean-Ralphio’s sister on Parks & Rec? Okay, maybe a lot of people, but Jenny Slate is fuckin’ funny. Anyway. Obvious Child is an indie comedy-drama about a young potty-mouth comedian (Slate) who finds out she’s pregnant and… just watch this.

Obvious Child was written and directed by Gillian Robespierre. It hits theaters on June 6, 2014. It’s so indie, its official movie site is on Tumblr.
